Have you guys ever heard about the Men in Black? No, I am not just talking about the film that starred Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. I am talking about the ones that those UFO and science fiction geeks talk about when I was in high school.

I came across these men when we had to make term papers about supernatural and extraterrestrial phenomena. I guess my teacher back then was watching X-Files reruns or something and loved to see essay about it.

Nevertheless, I did learn a lot about the less popular image of these guys in black. Here is what I have learned far:

      The Men in Black shown in Will Smith's movies and the ones that are popular in many UFO topics might as well exist in two separate realities. The MIB shown in the movie seem more casual and relaxed, while the ones that exist in alien folklore were actually threatening and intimidating accordiing to several accounts.

      However, they do share some similarities. According to a lot of accounts regarding MIBs, people who have encounters with them experience being in some sort of trance or a loss of memory. Maybe there is some truth in the flashing lights that they use in that movie after all.

Needless to say, the men in black will continue to captivate everyone's imagination, whether you are a UFO enthusiast or just an everyday guy or girl.
